About Me

My name is Juan Cruz Nores, I've been passionately doing software development since I was eight, professionally since 1997.

I started my career doing custom development for several customers in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries I started my career doing custom development for several customers in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries. I've worked in the design and development of the a leading BPM product, from a 20 person startup through the acquisition by BEA Systems Inc. and as part of Oracle. Right now I'm embarking on a new adventure at Medallia.

I've had a chance to program in several languages and learn from great engineers. I've always been drawn to writing code for other developers to consume. During my time at Fuego/BEA I've had a chance to work on a comercial compiler and runtime, build a high performance RMI (Remote Method Invocation) framework and also managed to integrate Java with COM and .NET.

I'm from Argentina and currently living the adventure of being a father (of that cutie in the picture). I also happen to be learning Japanese as a hobby, although I can't still speak/understand much of it. Anyway, こんにちは、みなさん！！！
